‘Explosive Revelations’ 

With the usual reminder that I think it is fair to say I am not chief among Donald Trump’s admirers around here, this sort of thing makes me roll my eyes at CNN: “Explosive revelations in Russia saga add up to bad day for Trump.”   

Go read it, if you want, but there aren’t any “explosive revelations” in there, at least as far as I can see. This kind of thing is, I think, bad for our politics: There’s more than enough hucksterism to go around without adding to the stock. CNN is a little like the New York Times: really truly valuable, at times, but reliably pretty bad on national politics and bonkers in opinions.
