The Corner

Congrats to the Phillies

Last year, the Phillies made headlines for losing their 10,000th game in history–the first professional sports team to do so. At the time, a fan held up a sign that quoted Thomas Edison: “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” Now the Phillies have their second championship since the presidency of Chester Arthur.

Also, I love that the game was over before bedtime.
