Conservative Hero James L. Buckley to Speak at NRI Ideas Summit

The former federal judge, U.S. Senator, Reagan administration ambassador and State Department undersecretary, boss of Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty, and the man whose name is rightly proceeded by “The Saintly” — of course we are referring to James Lane Buckley — will be speaking at National Review Institute’s 2019 Ideas Summit this March 28-29 in Washington, D.C., at the Mandarin Oriental hotel. The man whose upset Senate victory in 1970 was a major event in the history of America’s conservative movement — and the author of the acclaimed 2014 book Saving Congress from Itself: Emancipating the States and Empowering Their People — will be on hand to discuss federalism and other means by which we might reinvigorate the American Experiment. You can reserve your spot, and get complete information about the summit and its daily expanding list of speakers and participants, here.
