The Corner

I just watched a painfully embarrassing exchange on CNN between Lou Dobbs and David Gergen on the fact that white males in the Democratic primary appear to have liked Obama. Gergen pointed out that it was remarkable to see Obama do well, then Dobbs hurried to suggest that the South is “urban” and “sophisticated” and so it isn’t so remarkable after all, then Gergen responded by speaking as “a white Southern male.”

Oh, brother. Please close some additional polls and give these chuckleheads something else to talk about.
