Cruiseapalooza — 254 Cabins and Counting (and there’s still one or two left!)

There’s just a little over two weeks to go before the National Review Post-Election Mexico Cruise sets sail and people are still signing up: 254 cabins had been reserved as of this morning, accounting for 450 people, all of them expecting a grand time. Since we’ll be sailing just four days after the elections, I’m confident the pina coladas will be flowing, whether 1) over glee that the GOP dodged a bullet, 2) due to sorrow-drowning over presumptive Speaker Pelosi, or 3) to self-numb because recounts will have control of Capitol Hill still in doubt while the Oosterdam is bobbing along the Mexican Riviera.

Well, if you have to be somewhere November 11–18, it should be on a luxury cruise ship with hundreds of other conservatives and our killer line-up of top speakers: Milton Friedman, William F. Buckley Jr., Victor Davis Hanson, Bernard Lewis, Robert Bork, Kenneth Starr, Mark Steyn, Norman Podhoretz, Midge Decter, Dinesh D’Souza, Cliff May, Pat Toomey, Rich Lowry, Kate O’Beirne, Ramesh Ponnuru, Jay Nordlinger, John O’Sullivan, and David Pryce-Jones. And ectatic to announce two new speakers: former National Review publisher and syndicated columnist William Rusher, and NRO “Media Blog” editor Stephen Spruiell.

As of 4PM today the ship has a cabin or two left. If you want to snag one of them, do it now. You can visit www.nrcruise.com, but you’ll have better luck securing your stateroom if you call The Cruise Authority at 1-800-707-1634.
