Cruz: Clinton’s Benghazi ‘Talk Is Cheap’ if She Doesn’t Demand Action

Hillary Clinton needs to back up her regrets about Benghazi by demanding accountability for an attack that resulted in the death of four Americans, Ted Cruz said. More than a year later, no one within the administration has been fired and none of the perpetrators behind the attack have been captured.

“If she was really sorry — talk is cheap, she needs to stand up and demand action,” the Texas senator told Fox News on Monday. She called on the former secretary of state to join him and other lawmakers in convening a joint select committee to investigate the attacks and the security at the diplomatic outpost.

He hoped President Obama would do the same, and stay true to his word to get to the bottom of the attack and prevent future ones.
