Cult of the Day

The Skoptzists:

“The Skoptzy (скопцы, also transliterated as Skoptzi, Skoptsi, Scoptsy and other spellings) were a secret sect of Christianity in Russia. It was an offshoot of the sect known as the ‘People of God’. The name itself is plural for ‘skopets’, which is ‘castrate’ in Russian language, now archaic.”

[Derb]  It goes downhill from there.  I’d never heard of these folk till Greg Cochran (one of the authors of that Ashkenazi intelligence paper last year) mentioned it.  Woo-hoo.  Humanity is a very strange species.
