President Obama signed the legislation repealing “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” this morning.
However, the current DADT policy will continue, probably for a few more months, until Defense Secretary Robert Gates and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen certify that the new policy will not compromise military readiness.
