David Harsanyi vs. National Conservatism

In a must-read piece at the Federalist, former National Review senior writer David Harsanyi takes on national conservatism. 

Calling national conservatism a “dead end,” Harsanyi eloquently picks apart the nascent movement, critiquing its retrograde premises and demonstrating why embracing national conservatism will lead the GOP down the path of irrelevance. Among other things, he also explains how “the New Right’s intellectual movement is a Trojan horse for a bunch of corrosive authoritarian ‘post-liberal’ ideas.”
