Politico reports:
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee announced Monday it is pulling out of the special election for Hawaii’s 1st Congressional District, where two Democrats have been splitting the vote against a sole Republican, Charles Djou. “Local Democrats were unable to work out their differences,” DCCC spokeswoman Jennifer Crider said in a statement. “The DCCC will save the resources we would have invested in the Hawaii special election this month for the general election in November.”
