Decency and Useful Anger

Pretty impressive to see three men with impeccable personal lives and long-term marriages defend Newt’s contention that his behavior is between himself and God, and that it is offensive for a TV network to start a presidential debate with such a personal and inappropriate question.  Excellent display of general decency, and maybe Christian humility.  It works politically, too.

Nice opening from Mitt. He finally has come out swinging on capitalism. I like the hint of anger, because you have to be angry to go out, every day, and fight. This isn’t small talk at the country club.

Santorum is right to bring in the issue of manufacturing, and the men (mostly) and women who work in that sector. Those Reagan Democrats are the part of the electorate the GOP candidate needs to beat Obama.
