Dee Dee Myers Calls for MSNBC to Drop Bashir

Dee Dee Myers, who served as press secretary in the Clinton White House, believes that Martin Bashir should be let go from MSNBC following his comments about Sarah Palin. On Twitter, she expressed her disgust with his suggestion that someone defecate in Palin’s mouth:

MSNBC has not stated whether or not they will punish or fire Bashir, and his show has resumed as normal following an apology earlier this week.

Myers is an occasional panelist on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, but is not an official contributor with the network.
