Then he lists three things you can do to cut the deficit — and coherently argues, in paragraphs, the pros and cons of each option. Then he lands right on the Obama policies and destroys them. Exuding leadership.
Obama responds with “when I landed in the Oval Office . . . deficits, wars on credit cards, bad education programs. In other words — not my fault. This is a weak opening, if you want to look like a leader. Tonight he does not look like a leader. He looks like a debater.
