Delaware’s First Enrollee (Just Able to Sign up Last Week) Introduces Obama at Rose Garden

Janice Baker, who last week became the first Obamacare enrollee in Delaware, introduced President Obama before the president’s health-care speech in the Rose Garden Monday morning.

Baker, who was repeatedly frustrated by error messages and hours waiting on the phone, was finally able to sign up for health care on the Delaware exchange over two full weeks after the exchanges opened. The Obama administration previously praised Baker’s enrollment, as White House press secretary Jay Carney touted Obamacare success stories “including in Delaware” when Ms. Baker was still the only enrollee on her state’s exchange.
