Democrats are getting desperate in the defense of their troubled health-care law, with one congressman comparing the law’s troubled rollout to problems with his baby granddaughter.
“I’ve got a one-year-old granddaughter, and on Thanksgiving Day she had a number of little glitches, but we’re not ready to throw her away because of a glitch here and there,” Representative Emanuel Cleaver (D., Mo.) said on MSNBC on Tuesday. “Most things in the beginning stages are going to be difficult to pull off.”
