Democrat Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut is the chief Senate sponsor of radical legislation that would effectively create a right to abortion through all nine months of pregnancy in all 50 states. A former clerk to the author of Roe, Supreme Court Justice Harry Blackmun, Blumenthal is perhaps the last person in America you’d expect to find common ground with those who believe babies in the womb have the right to live.
But at a press conference about abortion on Tuesday, Blumenthal made a comment with which all pro-lifers could agree. The senator said: “To the men of America: This cause is your fight, too. It’s not a women’s issue. It is a human issue.”
