This Denver Family Is Not Entitled to Religious Freedom, Obama’s DOJ Argues

As the president of the United States was asserting his support for religious freedom at the United Nations Tuesday, his Department of Justice was filing an appeal in the case of the Newland family of Denver, who were granted a preliminary injunction in July to protect their Hercules HVAC business – for now – from the Department of Health and Human Services abortion-drug, sterilization, contraception mandate.

DOJ argues that when the Newlands lost their religious liberty when they made the free decision to enter the  “the marketplace of commerce.” That is not exactly the “unwavering support” for religious liberty President Obama claims. 

This issue needs to be discussed and clearly in the coming days and weeks. Educate someone close to you on this issue before you retire today.
