The Department of Commerce leadership sent all employees — with the exception of those working in the Inspector General and U.S. Patent and Trademark offices — an email officially noticing the department’s compliance with President Donald Trump’s new in-person federal work policy.
That email obtained by National Review links to a memorandum to department leadership, which includes details on exemptions for specific employees:
