Detached from Reality

On top of everything else, the Columbia student protesters suffer from delusions of grandeur.

When they illegally occupy a university building, the building has been “liberated.” When they wish the university to provide them snacks and drinks after twelve hours of “liberation,” it’s “humanitarian aid,” necessary to prevent students from dying of “dehydration and starvation.”

These aspiring terrorists are in Morningside Heights, not the desolation of Gaza. Their rhetoric, much like their behavior, is totally detached from reality.
