DHS Weapons-Procurement Agent Prepping for Race War

Ayo Kimathi, an employee for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) who works on guns and ammunition procurement, is apparently prepping for a race war.

A report from the Southern Poverty Law Center says that Kimathi, who works for the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) division of DHS, is a “gay-bashing, revenge-seeking black nationalist who advocates on his website – War on the Horizon – the mass murder of whites and the ‘ethnic cleansing’ of ‘black-skinned Uncle Tom race traitors.’”

The homepage of the conspiracy theory-laden site declares that “Afrikan people are an international racial family” and have “a bitter enemy – the white race.” In addition, the site says that blacks “are mandated by our Creator to return to our proper status as rulers of this world.”

In one posting from 2010, Kimathi labels various well-known black Americans, including President Obama and Oprah Winfrey, with vicious epithets. The SPLC quotes an anonymous ex-supervisor of Kimathi’s at DHS saying that “everybody in the office is afraid of him” and that Kimathi “is filled with hate.”

The supervisor also said that the DHS’s status as a law-enforcement agency means that employees are supposed to get written permission for outside activities, including volunteer ones. Kimathi allegedly referred to the site only by its acronym and told his superiors that it sold lecture and concert videos.

In a statement to The Atlantic, an ICE spokesman declined to comment on whether the agency is investigating Kimathi, citing ICE policy, but said the division does not condone “any type of hateful rhetoric or advocacy of violence of any kind against anyone.”
