Different Folks

Earl Russell (i.e. Bertrand Russell the philosopher) and Lord Russell of

Liverpool (prominent prosecutor at the Nuremberg trials) got fed up with

getting each other’s mail, and composed a famous joint letter to the London

Times stating that “neither of us is the other.”

In the same spirit, I want to make it plain that Luis Ernesto Derbez, the

Mexican Secretary of State, and myself, are two different people. There is

no resemblance whatsoever. Neither of us is the other.
