Good news on the new Sedition Act — oops, sorry, the DISCLOSE Act — although it may only be a temporary reprieve. The House Rules Committee indefinitely postponed its hearing on the Schumer/Van Hollen campaign finance bill that was scheduled for 3:00 today. So the House will obviously not get to it before the Memorial Day recess. Now if we could only get Congress to extend that recess and keep all of its members from coming back until the end of the summer (or even the rest of the year)…
