I suggested that companies should stop making it mandatory for employees, and that the law should stop encouraging companies to make it mandatory. Since I made this suggestion at the Washington Post, you can imagine how enthusiastically it was received. I don’t think a single critic has noticed that my proposal concerned only mandatory diversity training.
