Representative Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D., Fla.) evoked images of an abusive partner in her latest attempt to rally women against Governor Scott Walker (R., Wis.), who is running for reelection.
“Scott Walker has given women the back of his hand,” the Democratic National Committee chairwoman said in Milwaukee. “I know that is stark. I know that is direct. I know that is reality.”
The Journal-Sentinel also quoted her as saying that “what Republican tea-party extremists like Scott Walker are doing is they are grabbing us by the hair and pulling us back.”
