A source close to CNN describes Dobbs decision as “the oddest choice.” The source, who is not a big Dobbs fan, observed: “Going with a ‘in the kingdom of the blind the man with one eye reigns’ sort of view, he was NOT the CNN problem and more CNN hosts should have been like him: a strong man.” The source adds: “I’m very curious to know what he will do next, that likely will explain a lot.” It may be just plain natural and honest: “He also may be just plain tired–I don’t know how Sean Hannity does it, I don’t know how anyone with a radio and TV show daily does it.”
