Jonah,
My wife, a registered nurse in NJ, committed the unforgivable sin of sending in her license renewal payment late. This caused a whole raft of issues for her, including a mass of new paperwork that needs to be completed.
Among the many things she is now required to present to the state is a set of fingerprints, complete with the requisite background check.
The weird thing is that on the fingerprint application, she was asked her gender. The choices: 1) Male 2) Female 3) Both.
