Jimmy noted earlier that the State Department issued a press release this morning to mark “Intersex Awareness Day.”

The statement affirms the United States’ “commitment to promoting and protecting the human rights of Intersex persons globally,” and has the gall to denounce “medically unnecessary surgeries” that “seek to physically ‘convert’ Intersex children to non-Intersex children.”

What about medically unnecessary surgeries seeking to convert female children to non-female children?
