The Dog That Isn’t Barking?

So far, it appears, the lefty blogs have little to say about the OBL tape. Could that be because they find it awkward that so many of OBL’s messages are so closely in synch with theirs?

Two other quick thoughts:

1) This tape demonstrates — once again and a little louder for those in the cheap seats — the centraility of the war in Iraq to OBL and al-Qaeda.

2) My theory is that OBL dyed his beard because it makes him more popular with those hot Waziri chicks.
