As has been noted in this space, it is amazing that a concerted anti-Trump effort has only begun the last few days. But it has begun. So hats off to the Club for Growth (which first hit Trump in Iowa last September), Our Principles PAC (which was part of the closing argument against Trump in Iowa), and the American Future Fund. They are now on the field in a major way, and anyone who wants to stop Trump and nominate a conservative is in their debt.
For my part, I hope they will blanket upcoming states like Florida, Ohio, and Missouri with advertising without caring whether it helps Rubio, Kasich, or Cruz. Too many cute tactical considerations have kept people from making the case against Trump for too long. Either Trump is slowed and diminished, or no one else is winning the nomination. Have at it.
