Some people have the quaint idea that Trump should release his tax returns. I wouldn’t wait up nights on this one. But I was thinking of something else: What about his IQ returns?
Trump makes a lot of IQ. Haven’t the champions of liberal democracy always done that? Anyway, he says things like, “Sorry losers and haters, but my I.Q. is one of the highest -and you all know it! Please don’t feel so stupid or insecure,it’s not your fault.”
The Republican presidential nominee tweeted that, and I have preserved his characteristic punctuation. As for feeling “stupid or insecure” — I think that psychiatrists speak of projection. Or is it transference?
Trump also tweeted, “I know some of you may think I’m tough and harsh but actually I’m a very compassionate person (with a very high IQ) with strong common sense.” Thanks for the parenthetical, big guy.
Since he makes so much of IQ, and boasts that his “is one of the highest,” maybe Trump should take a test? An IQ test? And release the results? Maybe in lieu of tax returns?
