Yes, it’s amazing that Trump would float self-evidently ridiculous conspiratorial tabloid trash on Election Day in a state he’s already probably going to win handily. But this passage, more disturbingly, goes to a classic Trump reflex to maintain that people shouldn’t be “allowed” to do or say things he doesn’t like; in this case, Ted Cruz’s Dad urging evangelicals to vote for his son:
