Think About Helping NRO

As we head into the weekend, try to find a little time, maybe even now, to match that little conscience-twinge that is telling you – make a contribution to the NRO webathon. As you may know, we are seeking to gather $150,000 in these last days of 2016, in order to underwrite a complete and utterly stupendous rebuild of the website for 2017. We know all about the glitches and crashes and slow-loads and “aw shucks” pictures that appear with too much frequency. We’re tired of them, we’re tired of how it affects our ability to best spread the brilliant conservatism of NR writers, we’re tired of how it taxes your desire to visit and enjoy the website.

So the fix is coming. But we hope — with your help. And here’s how you can help: You can contribute on NRO here. If you prefer PayPal, you can donate here. And if you like to do things the old-fashioned ways, mail a check, payable to “National Review,” to 215 Lexington Avenue, 11th Floor, New York, NY 10016. Thanks so much!

Speaking of old-fashioned, and since we’re just 9 days from Christmas, here’s a Corner post-bonus – an ol-timey Santa illustration (Nick seems a little happy, maybe because he knows you’re about to donate!):
