Quite inspiring

Lance donated $500, which ain’t no chump change, and expressed the following: “Fell in love with this publication (and its evolution to digital) back when WFB was still an active, prolific writer. The collection of intellect, writing ability and commitment to thorough treatment of topics/concepts is unique in the current age, and greatly appreciated. Must read for me daily.” We like Lance. A lot.

Even aint-ier chump change is the $1,000 contribution from John, who short-and-sweetly said “NR and NRO — it’s a beautiful thing!” You too amigo.

Stephen drops a nice $50 into the plate and advises: “I know many/most of you have gigantic ethical issues with the POTUS in waiting and I get that, but please help/advise his new team, to the best of your ability, to see this through. Oh yea . . . ***k China.” Stevie baby, I hope you’re not being biological here!

Another $50 comes from Jasper, who’s full of seasonal greetings: “Merry Christmas to all — your work is thoughtful, informative and a joy to read. Keep up the good work in 2017!” Count on it.

Let’s end with Christopher who along with his generous $100 said “Thank you for providing an island of sanity during the campaign.” We try. By the way, Gilligan says thanks.

Now, there were several donations that arrived with very long comments, some about NeverTrumpian affairs, others listing how many times a day the site crashes on their computers, and others sounding off on an array subjects (even advice to the ideological lovelorn). I want you to know, your comments are shared with our editors. And as for the tales of site-crashing, well, we capisce. Multo capisce! That’s why we are doing what we are doing. And now we need you to do what you need to do – please donate here. If you prefer PayPal, you can make that happen here.

While I have you – another way to help NR, and maybe yourself, is to send a gift subscription. As they say, it’s the gift that will keep on giving, 24 times, fortnightly, throughout 2017. Get one, get a bunch – they’re only $29.50 a piece, and you don’t need to go to the mall! Do that here. God bless you all!
