Some may remember the Seinfeld when Tim Whatley converts to Judaism and Jerry’s not offended as a Jew but as a comedian, because Whatley apparently converted for the jokes. I kind of feel that way about my column on the White House Correspondents Dinner — a.k.a. the Nerd Prom. I’m offended not as an inside the Washington Beltway elitist, but as a nerd.
