Whenever Trump proposes anything, the Pavlovian reaction of much of the political class is mockery. So it is with Space Force. I don’t know enough about how the military operates in this area to have a firm opinion, but space will definitely be an arena for combat in a major war with China, and the idea of having a branch of the military devoted to it is at least worthy of serious consideration.
