Don’t Worry Stanley…

Given the Obama staff’s reported off-the-record efforts (“aggressively behind the scenes” is the usual journalistic parlance), during the 2004 Senate race, in prompting the court (under pressure from the nonpartisan Chicago media) to release the sealed divorce proceedings of rival Jack Ryan (sealed in part to protect a child’s privacy) that prompted Ryan’s withdrawal, there is no doubt that they won’t object to asking the University of Illinois to provide the same transparency with any public documents related Ayers.

PS. Given the fate of Obama’s past divorced rivals like Blair Hull and Jack Ryan, one might imagine whence came the recent interest in John McCain’s divorce decades ago.
