Double Standards

The Tampa newspaper attacks Miami Urban League president (and chairman of the state’s Board of Education) T. Willard Fair for his involvement in an anti-amnesty ad campaign (see what the fuss is about here). The paper intoned that “it was disturbing this week to see Fair become the public face of a national ad campaign that calls immigration reform a ‘slap in the face’ to black America.” Does anyone think the editors would have found it “disturbing” if he’d been making ads supporting “comprehensive immigration reform”?
