I just returned a little while ago from a special lunch for the Board of Trustees at AEI. We had a presentation where the optimist thought we were heading for slow growth and probably another recession. The pessimist predicted that the EU goes off a cliff and takes the world with it. The global economy is going to you-know-what. I return to my desk to see these crazy Dow numbers.
