The Washington Post is kicking off the new year with a helpful little reminder for the Left: Winning the Nobel Peace Prize doesn’t necessarily mean you act very differently from George W. Bush. They ran a piece on January 1 by Craig Whitlock detailing the Obama administration’s use of renditions, described as “the practice of holding and interrogating terrorism suspects in other countries without due process.” Whitlock adds that the president has embraced this potential-terrorist-management strategy “despite widespread condemnation of the tactic in the years after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.”
