There’s now a global scientific consensus that dogs are better than cats. Though in fairness, I think their judging criteria was kind of stupid. Who really cares about the carbon pawprint? Dogs are better friends to humans, smarter and more useful. Case closed.

Ah, yes. A day doesn’t go by where I don’t read another news report about some ferret pulling his owner out of a fire, making a drug bust, detecting a stroke or saving a baby from a swimming pool. The bomb-sniffing ferrets are particularly heroic.
