Dutch MDs Euthanize One Mentally Ill Patient a Week

Slippery slope, Wesley? What slippery slope?

Strict guidelines protect against abuse!

Yea, right. Last year, Dutch psychiatrists and general practitioners killed about one mentally ill patient each week. From the NLTimes.NL story:

Of the total, 87% of assisted deaths involved people with cancer, serious heart or lung problems or diseases of the nervous system such as ALS. There were 32 more cases of assisted suicide involving people with dementia, most of whom were in the early stages of the disease.

In addition, there were 60 cases involving people with severe psychiatric problems, a rise of four on 2015.

Note also, that the mentally ill and disabled are the prime candidates for conjoining euthanasia with organ harvesting.

There were over 6,000 patients lethally injected by Netherlands doctors, up 10% from last year.

That’s a whopping 500 each month, or more than 100 per week.

These numbers are surely undercounted. But if the 4% euthanasia official euthanasia figure were applied to USA demographics, it would amount to 104,000 medicalized homicides each year.

The euthanasia path leads off a vertical cliff.
