E-mail Footnote

A reader, telling me something I didn’t know:

Derb—Your home page requires JavaScript to display your email.  A lot of us prefer to browse with JavaScript turned off, as it’s so often just a timewaster and advertising delivery system.  Now, obviously, I’ve surmounted that challenge, as have many others.  But it’s not a sign of congenital weakness to fail.  If you want everybody to find it, you might drop a footnote on the page (‘JavaScript required to see the email address’).

Thank you, Sir.  I’ll do as you suggest next time I refresh my website.  I don’t plan any other changes, though–I’ve had too many e-addresses spammed up, and would rather be safe than sorry.
