The ever-intelligent John Hood is right about the media wanting to keep the horse race going, and he’s right that if Edwards wins Oklahoma by even one vote, it will be the “man bites dog” story of the night.
But what I can’t figure out is how EDWARDS keeps the story alive? When Kerry wins five out of seven tonight and two more Saturday, the Democratic establishment will be piled on his bandwagon. Edwards will be no more than a nuisance.
That’s not much of story, or a horse race.
