Many readers have e-mailed me to say that Egypt has refused Israel’s help. It’s worth noting that The AP story on the Jerusalem Post website right now says, “Egypt has thus far declined international offers of search and rescue assistance, including an offer from the Israel Navy.”
Of course, I won’t be shocked to learn otherwise. Especially given that Egypt seems to be downplaying how much Hamas(!) hates Jews.
