Egyptian Troops in Lebanon?

So, Rice is proposing sending an Egyptian contingent of peacekeepers to Lebanon under either a NATO or UN flag?  Bad idea.  Egyptian troops which were supposed to secure Egypt’s border with Gaza instead helped smuggle weapons to Palestinian terrorists, prolonging the second Intifada.  Maj-Gen. Doron Almog, head of Israel’s southern command, explains here.
