Eric Adams Hates Rats

New York City mayor Eric Adams has been getting teased for how much he hates rats.

I’m on the mayor’s side.

Obviously, the way to control the city’s rodent problem is through better trash management. But Adams has talked about eliminating the city’s rat population — a much more ambitious goal and one I hope he pursues. I want to see a renewal of human attempts to better engineer our environments by way of pest control. Start with the rats in New York City — then move on to the deer-tick population in the Northeast.
