ESPN Extends Curt Schilling’s Suspension After His Truthful Tweet Comparing Nazis and Extremist Muslims

I think we all saw this coming. I turns out that a short suspension wasn’t enough for ESPN. The network pulled Curt Schilling from the rest of its baseball broadcasts this season, including the playoffs. It was for this truthful tweet, that made two key (and accurate) points: First, there is not much moral daylight between Nazis and Muslim extremists, and, second, radical minorities can cause the world an enormous amount of grief:

As I wrote the day after his initial suspension:

If anything, Schilling understated the extent of Islamic radicalism. While more than a million Muslims actually belong to radical militias, terrorist organizations, and the military forces of radical Islamic states, the number of Muslims with terrorist sympathies and radical beliefs number in the hundreds of millions.

ESPN’s actions are exactly what you’d expect from liberals who know more about the dime package than history or theology and get their news from leftist Twitter and Gawker. But we can start their broader education now, and let’s start with a picture:

Pop quiz, ESPN. Who’s the man on the left? Who’s the man on the right? And what, exactly, were they discussing? Curt Schilling awaits your answer.
