Every Day Is Groundhog Day for Mr. Goldberg

Every year Jonah uses me as a Trojan horse for republicizing the silliest NR cover story of all time. I say again: a good, if not very fine movie. I’ve watched it over and over and over and over and over again. But philosophically earth-shattering? In the “pantheon” of great films of all time? Puh-leeze.

I give Jonah great credit for milking his critique of the film for all that it’s worth. And I am happy to provide a vehicle for his shameless self-promotion. Why would I burn copies of the mag when I know he’s just going to post it ad nauseam?

Jonah is still jealous, you see, that he has never met Bill Murray, and I have.
