If Edwards is doing 1 thing right, he seems to take advantage of the format of the debate.
In the exchange, he saves his more contentious attacks for his last 30 seconds – when he gets the last words.
He is saving his prepared one-liners/attacks for those segments even if they aren’t on-topic … rehearsed.
