The Corner

Expect the Expected

The candidates have won the states they were expected to win, and the state that was expected to be tight (OH) is tight. In that state, exit polls have Romney tied with Santorum among men but beating him among women; beating him among people who have college degrees but losing people who don’t; losing among people who make less than $100,000 a year and winning among those who make more; and losing badly among evangelicals. All of this, too, is as expected.
